Noe Valley
If San Francisco were a target, Noe Valley would be close to the bulls eye. Equidistant to just about any part of the city, this is possibly the friendliest and sunniest neighborhood around. Originally a predominantly blue-collar district, its residents now tend to be young urban professional families. Baby strollers and canines are a common site on the community’s main shopping and dining thoroughfare, 24th Street, and on the sidewalks and porches in front of its comfortable, well-kept Victorian and Edwardian row houses. Cafes, boutiques, proximity to Dolores Park and a Saturday Farmer’s Market add to the ambiance of this San Francisco comfort zone.
